Q: When does my pet need to be vaccinated for rabies?A: All cats and dogs 6 months of age and older must be vaccinated for rabies by a licensed veterinarian. If you have a pet that is not vaccinated for rabies, you have 5 business days from the date of acquisition to have the vaccination completed. Rabies vaccinations must be kept current at all times. Your veterinarian can advise you of a vaccination schedule. Q: Does my cat have to be licensed with the City?A: Yes, all cats and dogs 6 months old and older must be licensed with the City.
